Vacation Rental Policies & Procedures

RENTAL PAYMENT POLICIES: A deposit payment of 30% of rental stay is required to secure your reservation dates. If you have booked online and we do not receive payment with 48 hours, your reservation will be cancelled. Advance rental payments will be applied to your rental balance and can be paid on a Visa, Mastercard, or Discover.      

Travel Protection Insurance:  Shoreline Towers has partnered with CSA Insurance Company to offer our guests Travel Protection Insurance.   With CSA's Travel Protection, you may be covered during your entire vacation stay and during your travel to and from your destination.  We strongly encourage you to purchase travel insurance.  Should you have a major medical issue or experience trip interruption due to unforeseen developments such as illness, natural disaster, etc. ... you may be covered by contacting CSA through their claims process department at 866-999-4018.  Guests may purchase Travel Insurance up to the date the final rent payment is due.  At locations where the final rent payment is due on arrival insurance payments must be made at time of booking.   The Travel Protection Insurance fee is non-refundable after a 10 day grace period and is typically 6.95% of your total rental amount.   Visit the website  Click Here for details.  

Damage Waiver Fee  -   Accidents occur all the time and Shoreline Towers Association Realty, Inc. does require a Damage Waiver Fee of $65.00 will be charged on every reservation.   The Damage Waiver Fee is to protect the property from any accidental damage that may occur during your stay.    This fee covers $1,500.00 worth of accidental damage. Accidental damage MUST be reported to management during your stay to be considered accidental.  Missing items are never considered accidental damage and will be subject to guest charge at replacement cost. Intentional damage of any amount is not covered and will be dealt with through conventional means by charging the guest credit card for the amount of the damages, at replacement cost. 

Minimum Night Charge: Reservations obtained under false pretenses will not be honored, and will be subject to loss of entire deposit and rent paid. Minimum night stays and date ranges are notated above. 

Cancellation Policy:   Bookings canceled at least 30 days before the start of stay will receive 100%.  Bookings canceled at least 14 days before the tart of their stay will receive a 50% refund.   Loss of monies paid in, minus the insurance premium, can be avoided with the purchase of Travel Insurance.   Travel Insurance can be purchased through Generali Travel Insurance - https://www.csatravelprotection.com/.   If you have any questions about the Cancellation Policy or Travel Insurance please call Shoreline Towers Office at 850-269-0796.    

Eviction Policy: Reservations obtained under false pretenses will not be honored, and will be subject to the loss of  the entire deposit and rent paid. Certain other restrictions may apply over holiday periods. 

No-Show Policy: In the event the renter fails to cancel their reservation and does not show, no refund will be issued.

Registration Policy: No one under the age of 25 is allowed to rent a unit. Each unit must be accompanied by a parent or guardian over the age of 25, and they must be residing in the unit for the duration of the stay. Occupancy is limited to: 2 Bedroom - 6 persons / 3 Bedroom - 8 persons.

Under 25/Spring Break Policy:  We will rent to no single groups under the age of 25 unless accompanied by 2 parents or legal guardians for every 4 guests under 25.. We reserve the right to check ID’s and refuse admittance to our condos. Both parents must be staying in the unit at all times. Our rental properties are monitored for violations of this policy. All Violators will be evicted with all rental monies being forfeited and additional charges may apply. Reservations made under false pretenses are null and void and all rental monies are forfeited. Discourteous behavior or excessive noise may result in eviction of premises without refund. 

Hurricane Policy:  Should a hurricane or tropical storm threaten our area we will receive evacuation instructions from the National Hurricane Center and our local governing officials.    If the “Mandatory/Ordered Evacuation” order is given, refunds will be given for nights you were not able to stay in your accommodations.    

Disclosure: We reserve the right, in the event of unforeseen circumstances, to reassign a unit other than the unit reserved. Every attempt will be made to provide a substitute unit of like kind and quality.

Trailer Parking Rules:  No short-term or long-term renters are allowed to park a boat, trailer/utility trailer, RV, jet ski trailer, etc. on Shoreline Towers property.  Cars, trucks or SUV's may not be parked in the designated boat trailer, utility trailer and RV parking area. 

Beach: Beach service is available as an independent business.   No tents, tarps, canopies or umbrellas are allowed on the beach at any time.  Guest may bring their own personal chairs.   Please help keep our beaches clean by removing all trash and personal items at the end of the day.  No glass items is ever allowed on the beach.     

Non-smoking:  All our units are non-smoking. If evidence of smoking is found in your unit after departure you will be charged for sanitizing the room. 

Animal Policy:  NO PETS ALLOWED.   Service animals are allowed on property with proper documentation.  You  must provide documentation that the animal is up to date with vaccinations.  Please let the front office know when booking you will be bringing a service animal.
