Labor Day Weekend Festival

Can you imagine coming to Destin for your long awaited visit and get more out of it than you ever thought??

Not only can you visit the beach to soak up the suns warm rays but ALSO there will be a wonderful event I am about to share with you to finish out your evenings as well.

 The event is called Perfect Hues:The Baytowne Art and Food Festival. If you have not been to The Baytowne area, it is comparable to a small village with a downtown moonlight by the lagoon vibe. The festival is a set for the perfect time here in Florida because the weather is beginning to cool off, especially in the evenings, and everything is outside. It will include showings of art from many local & regional artists, local food trucks from Okaloosa County all the way to Santa Rosa County, and live music playing throughout the village.

The event will be every evening from 5 to 10pm starting Friday, September 3rd and going through Sunday, September 5th. 

My advice is to go on Sunday because they will have an amazing fireworks show over the lagoon at 9:30 to wrap up the weekend full of fun! 

Whether you browse the streets with your family and have a fun outside dinner or have a nice romantic evening with your partner peaking at all the local art and enjoying the local quisine, its sure to be a wonderful memory you take home with you.
