Big Events Coming up!

 There are a lot of things going on in Destin. I mean, we are the prime tourist and vacation location for Northwest Florida! I found two unique evetnts coming up that you may not want to miss! They are both very different events so just choose one that tickles your fancy!

If it were me, vacationing here, I would probably attend both and then write about the experience for other family members.

Tomorrow, Saturday the 18th, in Grand Park Boulevard there will be a lovely "Ballad of Twilight" by the Northwest Florida Ballet. It is a free out door production, I have not seen this one in particular but I have witnessed the NorthWest Florida Ballet shows in the past. The talent and artistry they bring to the show is absolutely amazing.

The Gulf Coast Blue Marlin Classic is a very large event in Destin and this just so happens to be the 20th!

So far they have 86 boats registered and expect a lot more before the deadline.

The Village of Baytowne Wharf Baytowne Marina 

"Sanctioned by the World Billfish Series and part of the International Game Fish Association Off-shore circuit. Winners will enjoy a hugh payoff. The competing anglers are not the only fishing enthusiasts who will hook a good time during the This is a "modified release" tournament. Blue Marlin are the only billfish that can be weighed in and must meet a minimum length. There are several divines for prizes awarded."
